| Linda and Cheri are willing and eager to share their secrets about the quilting process they go through to achieve award winning results. Everyone is invited to come and be a part of this class as we share this information with you. This is way more than a "trunk show." Cheri willshow all about the design process she goes through to create the quilt tops. She will demonstrate her applique methods and show how she squares up the quilts after they have been blocked. She will also show you how she binds the quilts (she gets rave reviews from the judges for her bindings) and share with you what tidbits she has learned about what the judges are really looking for in quilt shows. Then Linda will share her expertise as a longarm professional. How does she go about quilting these phenomenal appliqued quilt tops? Where does she start and when does she know it's finished? How does she choose the kind of thread and the colors of thread to use? What technical skills are involved when doing a quilt you want to enter into a quilt show? Linda will be quilting and demonstrating these techniques in class on a brand new wall-hanging designed by Cheri (one of the door prizes of course!) You won't want to miss this class.
