1. Remove The Needle
2. Place wrench below the nut on the hopping foot where it narrows, and turn clockwise.
3. Make sure the machine is at the top of the stroke. Remove the old foot and screw in the new one.
4. Snug the foot with a wrench. The foot will get ight before it lines up with the needle. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. The foot will stop at about 7 or 8 o'clock position.
5. Remove the rubber plug on the right side of the machine located near the white tension assembley.
6. Rotate the hand wheel until the needle bar is at the bottom of the stroke.
7. Insert a screwdriver into the hole where the plug was and loosen the screw about 1/4 turn counter-clockwise while holding onto the hopping foot. This will release the hopping foot bar. Rotate the foot until is faces forward.
8. Replace the needle. With the needle bar at the bottom of the stroke, center the needle in the hopping foot and slide either 3 business cards or on plastic card under the hopping foot, up against the needle. The hopping foot should be centered sitting on the card. Hold in place and tighten the screw that was previously loosened.
9. Rotate the machine by hand to make sure the needle is centered and the hopping foot strokes.
